We have an upcoming community meeting on Wednesday, April 22nd in the Lakeside Farms Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the meeting should start around 7:00 PM.
We will have guest speakers from the Sheriff department and the Fire Marshall. There may also be representatives from the San Diego Regional Fire Foundation.
We expect to present the results of the 6 chipping events that have occurred since the last annual meeting.
There will be significant discussions about Zone 0 home hardening for fire resistance. For additional information about this topic click on this link:

Given that we live in a high fire risk area, it is in your best interest to be aware of these regulations and begin home hardening.
EHLA is asking for grants to help with some areas such as: chipping events, vent screen covers, reflective address signs, and possibly non-combustible gates for fences that attach directly to your home. We do not yet know if we will receive any grant money, but we are asking for the financial assistance.
Hope to see you there!
